Wheelchair Boy Gives Back

One of the many programs of Essence Kids Foundation has created is Wheelchair Boy, which has its own website – www.wheelchairboy.com. Wheelchair Boy is a character designed for kids to teach them about the barriers of disabilities and to help them look pass it.

When you visit the wheelchair boy site, you will Enter the Magical World of The Adventures of Wheelchair Boy, whose exuberance for life is not restrained by the wheelchair but allows him to explore distant lands where he tackles challenges that confront the little hero. Aside from the games he plays (with your aid, of course) there are also stories that can only be limited by one’s imagination. If you’re not up to playing or reading, there’s always the coloring page for the creative side in everyone.
