Volunteer at Essence Kids

Providing us with the capacity to help children with disabilities through volunteerism strengthens our mission to reach them and make their lives meaningful and productive.  Whatever you are willing to give — be it time, energy or new and bright ideas — it is sure to reach those who need and appreciate it.

How Do I Become a Volunteer?

Step 1
Fill out the volunteer application form.

Step 2
Complete the application form and click send. You will be asked to provide two telephone references. These people must have known you in a work, volunteer or community role, for a minimum time of six months. Supervisors, teachers or managers make the best references as they are able to speak to your personal character and skills. Friends and relatives will not be accepted as references.

Step 3
If we have an opportunity that might be a fit with your skills and background, we will contact you to set up an interview.
